It is located next to the Church of San Martí Sacosta, an important point of the city, from where you can go down to Ciutadans street. It is an ideal place for tourists who seek to understand the history and culture of the city and at the same time enjoy the terraces and the quiet atmosphere of the city.
This house has a living room with TV with cable, fast Wi-Fi internet, a comfortable sofa that can be converted into a double bed and two armchairs. Next to the living room, you will find the kitchen, cosy and fully equipped with everything essential to cook and feel at home. Upstairs, there is a bedroom, bright and warm. Girona is built on a hill side and the apartment is located on a higher part of the city. To access the house from the historic center, you can walk and take the beautiful historic steps next to restaurant Le Bistrot, but there is also a public elevator that can take you to the higher part of the historic center.
Please note! The holiday apartment in Girona’s Portal Nou is situated in the heart of the Old City which has limited traffic acces (you are only allowed to enter 3x max per quarter year), and you can't park on the street. When you book we will give instructions and directions to drive in the old city. Please let us know if you need to use the car more than 3x. We can arrange to authorization for unlimited acces if you have a booking in our apartment Portal Nou.

From the station, fast trains connect to Barcelona in around 35 minutes and to Figueres, home of the Dalí Museum. If you're arriving by car, please note that the historic centre (Barri Vell) has restricted vehicle access (3 entries per quarter) and no street parking. Streets are narrow and mostly one-way, so we recommend parking before check-in.
