Please take notice! The apartment is situated in the heart of the Old City which is partly closed for traffic and you are not allowed to just park there. Note! By car you may only enter 3x per quarter so use those three times carefully. So although you have the luxury of a garage you are limited in the use because of the number of time you are allowed to drive into the old centre. A late check-in is no problem but we do have a policy (after 21.00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 21:00 to 23:00, 20€; - From 23:00 to 00:00, 40€; - Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00.00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

Two minutes from the house, you find the Church of Sant Martí Sacosta. If we continue down the stairs of Sant Maurici, we arrive at Carrer Ciutadans, which has great connections to the many good restaurants and 'boutiques' Girona has to offer.
Girona has its own airport only 20 minutes away by taxi or you can catch a bus and that will cost you about 30 minutes. Buses stop at the train station, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In about 35 minutes you are in the heart of that other great city of Catalonia. With the 'normal' train you can also go to Figueres to visit the famous and beautiful Dali museum. If you come by car, you have to take into that the old town has limited acces by car, only 3 times per quarter year. There are various parking options and places. There is a paid parking garage available which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina. It is a nice walk of only about 5 minutes. They offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you and give it on arrival. There is for instance free parking at la Copa parking on the other side of the river in a 10-15 minute walk.
