The apartment is located on the second floor of an apartment building in the center of Girona. You will find the entrance just of the street in Carrer Nou, next to the cash machine of Caixa Bank. When you enter the building there is a staircase with a lift. We do the check-in directly at the apartment and not from our office. We meet you in front of the entrance. If you come by car, you must park first. There is no possibility to stop in front of the building. If you have a lot of luggage, closest you can come with a car is Placa de Catalunya. When you are in the apartment it is for you, and for you alone. It's your home in Girona!
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), just a 5-minutes’ walk away, where you can find us for all your questions. We are happy to welcome you in our apartment and hope you will enjoy your stay in Girona. So let us know if you have special requirements, and if you have any questions, please contact us. We will be happy to answer your questions. For example: bicycle rental, restaurants, places to visit, booking a taxi, printing documents etc.
The apartment building is located on a shopping steet in the center, and you are not allowed to come there with a car. Not even for a quick unload. So, if you come by car, you must park first. There is a good car park nearby that we recommend, Saba Santa Caterina. There is also plenty of free parking, for example on La Copa, but that is a little further away. The apartment is located on the second floor of a building with elevator. Please be advised that the apartment is located in the center of the city. While Girona is not a busy ´24-7´ city, there may be some street noise if the windows are open. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. A late check-in is no problem, but we do have a policy (after 21:00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 21:00 to 23:00, 20 euro; - From 23:00 to 00:00, 40 euro; - Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course, if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00:00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.
Welcome to our beautifully located apartment near the iconic Pont de Pedra bridge. Step out of the door and into the historic Barri Vell, home to stunning buildings such as the cathedral and the old city wall. Watch professional cyclists begin their rides from Pont de Pedra, a popular spot for cycling enthusiasts. Convenience is key as well, with the apartment situated in the heart of the shopping centre and a variety of delicious restaurants and terraces just a short walk away. Come experience the best of different worlds from our apartment near Pont de Pedra.
Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 35 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options. The historic quarter (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access (only 3x per quarter year), and you can’t just park in the streets. However, you can mostly stop in front of our office for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage, but after that you must park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartment. There is a paid parking garage available which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina: Plaça de l’hospital, 17001, Girona. It is just a 3 min walk away and they offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you. There is also free, outside parking available, for example at La Copa which is a 10 min walk away.
