S'Agaró

At the turn of the 20th century, the noucentista architect Rafel Masó was commissioned by the Girona industrialist Josep Ensesa i Pujades to build something very special: an elite housing development with a distinctive noucentista style. Over a century later, S'Agaró is still a Mediterranean treasure. La Senya Blanca, Hostal de la Gavina, Domus Nostrum... each house forms part of an indivisible architectural complex declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. Stroll along the coastal footpath that passes through the complex and pay attention to all the details; you're sure to agree that it's deserving of this status.
