To the left of the apartment entrance is the toilet and the second bedroom with two single beds that can also be placed together. This spacious bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The living room is furnished as a loft with the master bedroom on the first floor. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet and a beautiful bathtub is standing in front of the large double bed.
The living room is spacious and light and has a large glass sliding door that opens onto the balcony that has views of La Rambla and the city.
In the kitchen there is an extra washing corner with a washing machine and an extra sink.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a completely renovated building on La Rambla. The entrance is under the characteristic porches with beautiful arches and right next to McKiernans, a very cozy Irish Pub. The entrance gives access to a spacious staircase and the elevator. Only one other apartment is located on the floor of the penthouse. The entrance is shared with other residents but when you are in the apartment this is for you and only for you. It is your home in Girona!

The apartment is in the heart of the old town that is partially closed to traffic and you are not allowed to park here. Pay attention! With the car you can only enter the old town 3 times per quarter, so use it three times carefully. For example, once for your check-in and once for your check-out. Although you are not allowed to park, you can stop at our office to unload your luggage quickly. The apartment is close by and is located on the top floor. It has a spacious stairwell but there is also a lift. A late check-in is no problem but we do have a policy (after 21.00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 21:00 to 23:00, 20€; - From 23:00 to 00:00, 40€; - Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00.00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.
From La Rambla it is ideal to explore Girona. It is only a few minutes' walk from, among others, the Santa Maria Cathedral and the Jewish Quarter. It is located in the middle of the historic center, just behind Placa del Vi and just 5 minutes from the Onyar houses. The old center is known for its wide variety of good and very affordable restaurants and small boutiques. It is highly recommended for those who want to be in a comfortable, unique place and want to explore this city on foot directly from the apartment.
Girona has it’s own airport just a 20 min taxi drive away (around 30 €) or you can go by bus for around 3 € and that will take you about 30 min. Busses will stop at the train station which is a 10 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the hart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dali museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options, the historic quarter, (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access, so you can’t park on the street. However, you can stop and park in front of the apartment for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage. But after that you have to park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartments. There is a paid parking garage available near the apartment which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina. It’s a 4 min walk. They offer a multi-day ticket that should be useful and economic. If you are interested we could get it for you and give it to you at arrival. There are also free parking at parking la Copa: (10-15 min walking) but we recommend you the first option at Parking Saba Santa Caterina.
