The apartment is part of a high quality and very quiet building, on the fourth floor with an elevator and airconditioning and heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances. There is a lot of natural light and 2 balconies, from where you can enjoy the bright morning sun, which overlook the Onyar River and all of its beautiful and colorful houses.

The apartment is on the fourth floor of a nice high quality and homely building. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a complete spacious bathroom. The master bedroom has french doors leading to a nice balcony overlooking the river. The kitchen is fully renovated and equipped, has a table for 4 people and an exit on to a outdoor laundry area whit enough space to store bikes and dry clothes. The living room is very bright and has a big dining table for 6. The sofa is large and comfortable and right next to another balcony exit. There is fast Wi-Fi available.

The apartment is located in a beautifully renovated old building with an elevator on Carrer de Santa Clara. This is the heart of the centre of Girona. The apartment is on the fourth floor. The apartment is very difficult to reach by car (and parking at the apartment is not allowed) and therefore we strongly advise you to park the car first and then come to the apartment on foot for the check-in. When you are in the apartment, it is for you and only for you. It is your home in Girona!

The apartment is located in the centre of the historic district, where access by car is difficult and parking is not possible. You are not able to get to the front of the apartment with a car if you are not a resident with a license. There are parking options, paid and free, about a five minutes’ walk away. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a historic building with a lift. A late check-in is no problem but we do have a policy (after 21.00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 21:00 to 23:00, 20€; - From 23:00 to 00:00, 40€; - Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00.00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.




You will find the apartment in the beginning of Carrer de Santa Clara, next to the beautiful square Plaça de la lndependència. This is the heart of Girona centre and from here you have the best starting point to discover the city. When you cross one of the bridges over the river Onyar you will be in the Barri Vell (old town) with all the beautiful historical buildings like the Cathedral and the ancient city wall. And on Santa Clara you will find lots of nice shops and boutiques and Plaça de la lndependència is full of terraces and restaurants.


Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 30 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options, the historic quarter, (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access and so you can’t park on the street. However, sometimes you can stop in front of the apartment for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage, but after that you have to park the car somewhere else. We do recommend to park first! There are several places to park available near the apartment. There is a paid parking garage available near the apartment which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Berenguer i Carnicer. It’s a 5 min walk away. They offer a multi-day ticket that should be useful and economic. If you are interested we can organize it and give it to you at arrival. There is also free parking at open parkings for example La Copa which is also a 5 min walk away. But we do recommend to take the parking option of Saba parking.
