The apartment is on the first floor of an old historical building on Carrer Auriga. The small entrance leads to the stairs. There is no lift. The stairs are very narrow and there two tight turns. If you want to bring a big/heavy bike, this will be a problem. The entrance is shared with other residents but when you are in the apartment this is for you and only for you. It is your home in Girona!

The apartment is on the first floor of an old historical building on Carrer Auriga. The small entrance leads to the stairs. There is no lift. The stairs are very narrow and there two tight turns. If you want to bring a big/heavy bike, this will be a problem. The entrance is shared with other residents but when you are in the apartment this is for you and only for you. It is your home in Girona! Note! If you come with a car, we highly recommend you park first. The historic centre has limited car access, and the small one-way streets are very difficult to navigate.
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), just a few-minutes’ walk away, where you can find us for all your questions. The apartment is located in the center of the historic quarter, where access by car is difficult and parking is prohibited. It is important to note that you are only allowed to enter the historic center by car 3 times per quarter year. Because of the limited access and that there is no parking allowed, we always recommend to park first. The apartment is on the first floor of a building without lift. The stairs are very narrow and there two tight turns. If you want to bring a big/heavy bike, this will be a problem. Please be advised that the apartment is located in the center of the city. While Girona is not a busy ´24-7´ city, there may be some street noise if the windows are open. There are also many churches, and the bells toll every hour. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding. A late check-in is no problem, but we do have a policy (after 21:00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: From 21:00 to 23:00, 20 euro; From 23:00 to 00:00, 40 euro; Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course, if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00:00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 40 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options. The historic quarter (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access (only 3x per quarter year), and you can’t just park in the streets. However, you can mostly stop in front of our office for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage, but after that you must park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartment. There is a paid parking garage available which we recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina. It is just a 5 min walk away and they offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you. There is also free, outside parking available, for example at La Copa which is a 15 min walk away.
