Fortià

This town of pig farms, farmland and single-storey buildings (except for one) keeps alive the memory of Queen Sibil·la, who was born here in around 1350 and grew up to become one of the Catalan queens of the Crown of Aragon (an exceptional case since she descended neither from royalty nor the high nobility). All sorts of things are named after her in the town, including a street, a school, a restaurant and the municipal magazine.
