The apartment is located in Girona’s historic centre, the Barri Vell, where car access is restricted and parking is not allowed. In most areas, vehicles may only enter up to three times per quarter, so we recommend parking before check-in. After booking, you’ll receive access to your personal Bravissimo App with parking information and smart lock check-in instructions (self check-in). While Girona is generally calm, some street noise and church bells may be heard if the windows are open. Tourist tax not included (applies to guests aged 16+, up to 7 nights).
The apartment is located in the heart of Girona’s Barri Vell, one of the most beautiful and historic old towns in all of Spain. Step outside your door and you’re instantly surrounded by centuries of history, from the impressive Cathedral and the ancient Jewish Quarter to the iconic Arab Baths and medieval city walls. Stroll along cobbled streets, explore hidden alleys, and take in the charm of vibrant squares, artisan shops, galleries, and cosy cafés. The Onyar River and its famous colorful houses are just around the corner, as are some of Girona’s best restaurants and local markets. Staying in the Barri Vell means you're fully immersed in the city's cultural heart, with everything within walking distance. Perfect for discovering Girona’s atmosphere, history, and daily life at your own pace.
Girona Airport is just 20 minutes away by taxi or about 30 minutes by bus. Airport buses stop at the main train station, which is within walking distance of most of our apartments in or near the Barri Vell, some just 10 minutes away. From the station, fast trains connect to Barcelona in around 35 minutes and to Figueres, home of the Dalí Museum. If you're arriving by car, please note that the historic centre (Barri Vell) has restricted vehicle access (3 entries per quarter) and no street parking. Streets are narrow and mostly one-way, so we recommend parking before check-in. After booking, you'll receive access to your personal Bravissimo App with detailed parking instructions, check-in info, and lots of useful tips to make your arrival and stay easy and enjoyable. Girona is very walkable, and once you're here, everything is close by, including great cafés, restaurants, and cultural highlights. Cycling is also a fantastic way to explore the area, with rental shops nearby.
