There is a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with two single beds and the third bedroom has a single bed, with the possibility of a second single bed. The spacious and bright living room has a sofa bed, dining table for 6 people and a large wide screen TV. The kitchen can be closed off from the living room through a sliding wall. The bathroom has a double sink, toilet and shower.

The apartment is in a renovated old building and has its entrance to Carrer dels Mercaders, one of the many beautiful quiet streets in the heart of the Barri Vell, where you can also find our luxury holiday apartment of Girona. The apartment is located on the top floor, has shutters and double glazing and is therefore wonderfully quiet. There is a wide entrance and spacious staircase. There is a lift in this old historic building.
When you are in the apartment, this is for you and only for you. It is your home in Girona!

We have our office located very close to the apartment, at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo) where you can find us for all your questions. So let us know if you have special requirements or requests, and if you have any questions, please contact us. We will be happy to answer your questions.
For example: bicycle rental, restaurants, places to visit, booking a taxi, printing documents, etc.

From Carrer dels Marcaders, where our holiday apartment of Mercaders Gironais also located, it is ideal to explore Girona since it is only a 5 min walk from Santa Marie’s Cathedral and the Jewish quarter. It is right in the middle of the historic centre, just behind La Rambla and 2 min from the Onyar Houses. The Old Centre is known to have a large variety of great restaurants and small boutiques. It is highly recommendable for those who want to be in a comfortable, unique place and explore Girona just walking from your holiday accommodation in Mercaders Girona.

With the car you can only enter the old town 3 times per quarter, so use it three times carefully. For example, once for your check-in and once for your check-out. Although you are not allowed to park, you can stop in front of our office to unload your luggage quickly. A late check-in is no problem but we do have a policy (after 21.00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: From 21:00 to 23:00, 20€; From 23:00 to 00:00, 40€; Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00.00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

Girona has its own airport only 20 minutes away by taxi or you can catch a bus and that will cost you about 30 minutes. Buses stop at the train station, which is a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment.
The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In about 35 minutes you are in the heart of that other great city of Catalonia. With the 'normal' train you can also go to Figueres to visit the famous and beautiful Dali museum. If you come by car, you have to take into account the parking possibilities. The historic district (where the apartment is located) has limited parking facilities. You can always stop a few minutes near the apartment so that you can unload the luggage. But then you have to park your car somewhere else. There are various parking options and places. There is a paid parking garage available which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Santa Caterina. It is a nice walk of only about 5 minutes. They offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you and give it on arrival. There is for instance free parking at la Copa parking on the other side of the river in a 10-15 minute walk.
