Our large, well-equipped kitchen is perfect for whipping up your favourite meals, and there's plenty of room for everyone to dine together. And if you need to catch up on some work, our upstairs bedroom features a desk where you can work in peace.
After a long day of sightseeing, retire to our master bedroom, which features a comfortable double bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet. We also have two other bedrooms - one upstairs with a single bed and another with two single beds, ensuring there's plenty of space for everyone.
Our second bathroom has a sink, bath with shower, and toilet, making it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning.
In the back of the kitchen is a small terrace where you find the washing machine and where for instance you can store bikes.
With air conditioning throughout the apartment, you can be sure to stay comfortable no matter the weather. And the best part? Our apartment is situated in a quiet building, allowing you to truly unwind and relax.

The apartment is located on the top floor of an apartment building in the center of Girona. You will find the entrance in Carrer del Portal del Barca, between Carrer del Pou Rodó and Pujada del Rei Martí. When you enter the beautiful entrance of the building there is a staircase with a lift. We do the check-in directly at the apartment and not from our office. We meet you in front of the entrance. If you come by car, you must park first. There is no possibility to stop in front of the building. If you have a lot of luggage, closest you can come with a car is the end of Carrer del Bellaire. If you are lucky, you can also park there but places are very limited. When you are in the apartment it is for you, and for you alone. It's your home in Girona!
We have our office at Carrer de la Cort Reial 13 (Bravissimo), just a 5-minutes’ walk away, where you can find us for all your questions. The apartment building is in the heart of the historic centre, and you are not allowed to come there with a car. Not even for a quick unload. So, if you come by car, you must park first. There is a good car park nearby that we recommend, Saba Berenguer i Carnicer. There is also plenty of free parking, for example on La Copa. If you have a lot of luggage, closest you can come with a car is the end of Carrer del Bellaire. If you are lucky, you can also park there but places are very limited. The apartment is located on the top floor of a building with elevator. A late check-in is no problem, but we do have a policy (after 21:00). Please note that a late check-in carries the following extra charges: From 21:00 to 23:00, 20 euro; From 23:00 to 00:00, 40 euro; Check-in after 00:00 is in principle not possible. Of course, if your plane is delayed and you arrive after 00:00 we will be there for you. Tourist tax: When we do the check-in your booking is paid via Airbnb, except for the tourist tax. Tourist tax is a local tax that we are obliged to collect and remit to the local government. The tax is 1,10 euro per person (16 years and older) per night, for a maximum of 7 nights.

There's truly so much to discover and see in this vibrant neighbourhood, from the colourful houses lining the River Onyar to the impressive Girona Cathedral towering over the city. And with Bravissimo Portal Barca as your home base, you'll be perfectly situated to make the most of everything this fantastic city has to offer.
Girona has its own airport just 20 min away by taxi (around 35 euro) or you can go by bus for around 3 euro and that will take you about 30 min. Buses will stop at the train station in Girona which is a 15 min walk from the apartment. The train station has a high-speed connection with Barcelona. In around 35 min you will be in the heart of that other great city of Catalunya. By train you can for instance also go to Figueres to visit the well know and beautiful Dalí museum. If you come by car you have to consider the parking options. The historic quarter (where the apartment is located) has limited traffic access (only 3x per quarter year), and you can’t just park in the streets. However, you can mostly stop in front of our office for a few minutes so you can unload your luggage, but after that you must park the car somewhere else. There are several places to park available near the apartment. There is a paid parking garage available which we highly recommend: Parking Saba Berenguer i Carnicer. It is just a 5 min walk away and they offer a multi-day ticket that is convenient and affordable. If you are interested, we can arrange it for you. There is also free, outside parking available, for example at La Copa which is a 5 min walk away.
